The rest of the movie involves Pongo, Perdy, and their 15 puppies attempting to stay one step ahead of Cruella de Vil as she madly attempts to steal them away without Roger knowing. Of course, Roger refuses, sending Cruella into a mad frenzy. The villainess of the story, Cruella de Vil, makes her appearance right after the pups are born and demands that Roger sell her the puppies so she can complete her fur coat. Soon after Pongo and Perdy (along with their owners) get married, they have a litter of 15 puppies. It was Pongo's idea all along to get his owner, Roger, out of the bachelor life and it was all too perfect that he found himself a mate in the process. Pongo (the male Dalmatian lead) and Perdita first meet when their owners are taking a walk in a London park, only to run into each other and fall in love. This story was originally based off of the novel by Dodie Smith, which was written a few years earlier in 1956, and features a family of Dalmatians and their fight for survival against a fur obsessed villainess known as Cruella De Vil. Perdita, also known as Perdy, is a beautiful Dalmatian dog that is featured in Disney's animated film 101 Dalmatians (1961). And in Cinderella, even though she got the prince, her step-sisters were severely maimed in their attempt to fit into the glass slipper! So in the end, it's a good thing that writers have taken the time to adapt these stories and make a few very important (and altogether much happier) tweaks!

A couple examples of this would be, the tales of The Little Mermaid and Cinderella where our beloved fairy tales didn't quite follow the endings we know today. The original tales, surprisingly, weren't always child friendly.

In fact, creators such as Disney have even taken the original fairy tales (such as Grimm's Fairy Tales) and turned them into stories that are actually happy and full of good morals. As fairy tale adventures have slowly made their way from within the pages of books and onto the big screen, they have become more and more approachable for people of all ages. Although fairy tales are officially known as magical and wondrous stories for children, there's no rule that says adults can't enjoy them just as much.
