A native of Brooklyn, New York City, he is a founding member of the hip-hop collective Pro Era, with whom he has released three mixtapes, as well as his numerous solo projects. I also have a couple of tracks on here I did when I was 15 years old (“little rachel”, “indubitable”, and “silent knight”) and I want to show people the progress I’ve made in a couple of years. I decided to put this project together because I have a lot of unreleased material that I didn’t want to keep from the ears of my fans and supporters.

“1999 rejex” is a compilation of tracks that didn’t make it to my debut mixtape “1999” (obviously). Catch a statement from Bada$$ below and be sure to check out the content on Rejex. That may have only been two years ago, but Joey is eager to demonstrate to fans and critics alike that he’s already began to evolve and sharpen his skills as an emcee. For Rejex, the young artist laced together a pile of previously unreleased and older cuts that didn’t make the tracklist for ’99, a trio of which were recorded when he was just 15 years old.
